Health Testing

The British Goat Society (BGS) has produced a very informative leaflet entitled BGS Goat Diseases Leaflet , which covers CAE, Johne's Disease, Scrapie and CLA. The Leaflet can also be found in the British Goat Society website's Health section.

Veterinary surgeons can provide advice and test for diseases such as CAE, Johne's Disease and CLA. These tests can be arranged by owners for their own information or as part of regulated schemes.
